What Therapy Looks Like With Me

Hi, I'm Lauren. I work with young adults and adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, and life’s many transitions. Maybe you're feeling stuck, carrying more than you can manage, or simply looking for a space to slow down and sort through what's on your mind. Whatever brings you to therapy, you don't have to navigate it alone. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I draw from CBT, DBT skills, strengths-based, solution-focused, trauma-informed, and person-centered approaches, tailoring therapy to your individual needs and goals. Together, we can work toward better understanding yourself, building healthy coping skills, navigating difficult emotions, and creating meaningful, lasting change. I believe therapy should feel approachable and personalized—not like a one-size-fits-all experience. Throughout my career, I've worked in community mental health, inpatient psychiatric care, hospital social work, and intensive outpatient (IOP/PHP) programs. These experiences have given me the opportunity to support adolescents, adults, and families through a wide range of challenges and life circumstances. They've also shaped my belief that every person's story is unique, and that meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and met where you are. I believe therapy works best when you don't feel pressured to have all the answers. My goal is to create a space that feels steady, genuine, and free of judgment—where you can be honest about what you're experiencing and feel supported as we work together toward the changes that matter most to you.
